This person wants me to deposit a check for $2400 and withdraw that amount from my account and send to a person in Manila Philippines

I am getting the same request from the same number.

Scam.  Check is bogus.  Don't attempt to negotiate it or deposit it. Take the check and any information you have been given and go down to the local post office and have the postal inspectors look at it.   Common mystery shopper scam.
