I just received a call from a man at (813) 331-2408 saying his name was Allen Cooper and I was being sued by the IRS.  The case number he gave is 6895596. He said my attorney or I must call immediately or he wasn't responsible for what would happen.  The voice was electronically generated.

I Googled "IRS Call from 813 331-2408" and visited the Federal Trade Commission website.  The recorded sample they have is a woman, but the script is almost identical.  http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/irs-calling

I got the EXACT same call with the EXACT same case number and everything!! Thanks for looking it up. I was about to and then I saw your post.

Call stating they were from the IRS, case# CH95596, of a criminal lawsuit.  I'm not even a US citizen.

I received a message from this call saying he was Allen Cooper and that he was from the IRS.  He also said that I was being sued by the IRS.  I googled the number and found that it is a scam.

The same scam robocall from (813) 331-2408 Sun City Cen FL hit my landline last night, with the same IRS lawsuit claim ----
