Donations made to scammers who impersonate registered charities are also not tax-deductible, which is why no one should ever donate to any voice over the telephone. As yours is the first complaint, this could be AmVet or it could be an impersonater ... what irony.

AmVet scam. They are not a registered charity. As a tax preparer, I know your tax deductions will be declined. You give them your stuff for free, they make a ton of money for themselves.
