asked me for personal information, but would only identify themselves as MMP in Newburgh Indiana. Said that they were calling regarding a personal matter and asked me to confirm my identity. I said I couldn't divulge that information over the phone without confermation of who they were and what the call was regarding. They hung up.

This MMP contacted me as well. Won't give info and won't answer questions regarding who they are. I hung up on them and blocked their number.

It would seem that they are a debit collector for medical bills. They do not disclose any info about themselves till you have confirmed who you are. Very rude when they call!

An older male called my cell phone from this number asking to speak to my 11 year old son. When I clearly stated that the number he had called was MY cell phone number and that I am the mother/legal guardian, the man proceeded to ask for a better phone number to reach my son at. I made it very clear that the person he was asking for is 11 years old and does not have a "better phone number" to be reached at. He got very defensive when I repeatedly asked where he was calling from, and as I explained that whatever business he had with my son needed to be taken care of through me. The only info he would divulge was that he was calling from a business in Newburgh, IN. When I hung up and immediately called back, a woman named Cindy answered, but wouldn't tell me the name of the business that had just dialed. If they are a medical billing debt collection agency, but refuse to state so, then it seems to me that they do not want their money bad enough.
