said they had a case in office against me

An automated voice said they had " a pending case in their office that requires my immediate attention. Dial 1 to speak to a mediator."  No phone number was left or company name.

It's Christmas season so this is prime time for scam calls.

ID themselves as "Mediation Services".  Claim they are not debt collectors.  Right.
Just another generic term for debt collector.  Would not give me any further
information.    Clearly a debt scamming operation of some sort.  Ignore and block this
number.

Received call from number,said you will be thrown in jail unless you pay,absolutely a scam.Ignore the morons and maybe they will have time to find a real job.
