Each platoon gets a satellite phone to share to call loved ones back home.  This one is currently being used in Iraq.  Definitely don't miss it, because it is a loved one calling from out there.

I have a step brother in the Navy serving in Iraq
right now, But he's a Real As*hole, does not care about
family, only cares about himself, he's so selfish and hateful
he would not be calling me, because he's hateful and jealous
of me.
He's just a hateful person, so I know he would not be calling me.

and read at random. Hope he gets back the same hate and treatment
that he has dished to me over the years, right back at ya.

my good friend called from this number, he too is serving in iraq and explained its all satellite connection! and often the connection isnt great and it takes a moment for the call to connect so dont hang up thinking its a telemarketer, i luckily knew he would be calling and waited!!
