These people called four times today. Said they're from Windows technical support but caller ID name reads "Smith Jody B"

Called in the afternoon 6:30PM caller ID reads out "Smith Jody B" I didn't answer the call. it went directly to Voicemail caller didn't leave any message.

WARNING!!!! I just got a scamming phone call this morning 3/28/15 9am EST. In a foreign voice a man tells me that he is from Window's Technical Support and my computer is infected with a virus. They have been receiving messages from it, and for me to turn on my computer so he can show me with "my own eyes." I immediately told him I do not believe this is a legitimate call and I hung up. My caller ID displayed: 1-808-627-9318 "Smith, Jody Bran." DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION!!!!

When I saw the 808 area code I wondered why some from Hawai'i was calling me especially when it was quite early there compared to here in the East Coast.  Caller ID~Smith, Jody B.
Good to read that others know this is a scam. I will block their number

Phone call from 808-627-9318 with the name Jody  Smith.  A man with an Indian accent said he was from the Microsoft Technical Department and wanted to help get malware off of my computer. It was hard to understand him and he got rather rude.
