Got a voice message from this number with a female voice and the name Nancy Gomez and a pre recorded message stating that my SSN had been suspended and to call the emergency hotline.  I called the number back and got a message that the Google Subscriber was away and to leave a message.  Definitely NOT the Social Security Administration. I got this info off of the SSA website: If you are unsure as to the authenticity of someone who claims to be an SSA employee, please call SSA's toll-free number, 1-800-772-1213, to verify the reason for the contact and the person's identity prior to providing any information to the caller.

Same scam as mentioned above. My scam antennae went up immediately upon listening to VM. Did not call back. They called twice within 1.5 hours. Ventura, 805 number, SSN "suspended". Dead giveaway. It's sad that some unsuspecting folks fall for it. Sad that they already have our SSN's. LifeLock here I come!

Social security scammer

Got a message from the same number, thought is suspicious bc it was not an 800 number (like most SS numbers are.   Called back, spoke the to the man with the thick accent.   Told him my doubt in the validity of the call.   Told him a had SS on the line and was going to conference them in.    He disconnected right away.   Now waiting on SS to call back to report this scam conman!

Got a call from Nancy Diamond from the office of Social Security Admin- asked to call back on the emergency line- spam. blocked call.
