I received a call this afternoon from a Theodeaus Andrews and the number that showed up on my caller ID was 804-664-9484 and 202-280-2926. He said that there were two charges.  He knew my last 4-digits of my ss# and I started asking questions and told me he was with Chase-Lowes Associates representing a company by the name of National Assistance Fund and said something like Great Lakes/TCF but couldn't give me original date of debt. I as well will be reporting them to the Fair Trade Commission. It was upsetting and would sure like to know how he got my info such as my e-mail address.  So I contacted TCF and I have NO OUTSTANDING DEBT with them.

Called me before lunchtime.  Never seen this number before.  Picked up and said "hello?" but no reply.  Said "hello?" several more times, but no one said anything back.  Call disconnected after 8 seconds.

Called me an hour or so ago. Line was completely silent. I said "hello?" a few times, no response, then I hung up.

This caller has used a different number every week to say that I'm a winner of an amazing vacation. She starts out her phone call saying, 'Oh, hello, I'm having trouble with my headset...'

Emily -- still having problems with her headset -- this has been going on for 6 months or so.  I did not listen further since Emily has called me several times and I know her scam.  I believe this is a spoofed number, and this call came to my cell phone.  PLEASE to not say "yes" when answering any unknown calls. If you have not already heard, there is a scam where they record you saying "yes" and splice it in as an answer to a question they never asked, which can lead to you being billed for services/ items you never authorized.
