They call and leave no message Very distracting and need reporting.

Calls repetitively, no message left

SCAM    Recorded message form a " JOE".  Joe says call is being recorded. Then "Joe" asks, " can you hear me ok?"  . Normal automatic response is YES. Purpose is to have a recording of you saying YES , to use in a scam.   Trick to get you to say "YES" and they say first that they are recording.   NEVER SAY " YES" !!

This Scamer calls a few times each week from Beaverdam Virginia and uses different spoofed numbers but all of them begin in 804-449. Sometimes a robomessage is left but they hang up most of the time .after the answering machine picks up

Hank above is correct, all BeaverDam VA 449 prefix calls. Joe asking about a "hearing" can you hear me OK? Since I own a business, I ALWAYS answer with the business name and then if they launch their recording ask "which employee are you trying to reach?" . Hang up rate is nearly 100%. If you get spammed, answer with a real or bogus company name and they'll disconnect, it's harassment if they call a workplace
