Received a call from Barnwell, SC (803-621-3020) advising they represented this organization.   I believe it was a scam, lots of rapid fire ghetto inflection speech demanding I make my donation via credit  or debit card.  I demanded they send me a request by mail.  The result was the guilt trip routine of Veterans dying daily, freezing in the cold weather, the money had to be provided NOW!  Nothing but Abba Dabba Abba Dabba, high pressure intimidation.  If this is how the organization is going to solicit funds, they won't be getting any from me.  I was advised I had donated previously to the group, and they had honored my request at that time to not be contacted again for a period of one year.  Another guilt trip, apparently I was not obligated to donate again.  I don't recall ever having donated to this group. Also, this group is registered in the state of Missouri, not South Carolina.

CAUTION !  Give serious consideration as to the validity of this organization should you be contacted.  Ask that the request to donate be sent via mail (not email!).  If you get the same high powered yadda yadda routine, hang up.
