recorded message saying I could lower the interest rate on my credit card. Not fishy at all, especially since I don't have a credit card.

Same deal. answered the number and it immediately hung up after I said hello. Called back and it was an automated message with only one option, press 1 to be taken off call list. After pressing 0 multiple times, it hung up on me

Same as Victor above. Called back and an automated message offered only one option - press 1 to be taken off the call list. PLEASE DO NOT PRESS 1. It could be a scam. Here is a message from the FCC explaining why.
