Surely if you have set up mobile banking alerts of any kind you would know that.  Therefore this is certainly a scam. If in doubt, contact your financial institutions at the numbers on the back of your cards or on your statements.

This is a scam that has been around for some time. They try to trick people into giving their card number in a ruse to reactivate the card.
