Scammer who won't answer the phone when called back. Will only text with broken English. Wanted to buy something from my shop listed on Craigslist for $800. Sent a bogus check for over $1900. Number comes up as Utah, check was from OH, and USPS Express mail postmarked from Brooklyn NY

Bring the bogus check and the envelope in which it came to your local postoffice.  Give it to the postmaster.
USPS will pursue "using the mails to defraud".

SCAMMER!!!    I too just got a text, he emailed me first: Craigslist for an item, said he'd mail me a check and when it cleared he'd arrange a mover to pick it up. Used name: Mark Lee Hunter who is a writer from Paris and this phone match found for 801-876-7301 is Location: UT. Identify and track telemarketers, collection agencies, politicans, surveyors, scammers, and more.

"Okay I'm willing to add an extra $30 for you to reserve it in my favor..And  I'll be mailing a check for the payment, and once the bank posts the fund, which shouldn't take more than a day,I'll arrange for the Mover who will pick up.Let me have your name and address so that I can arrange for the payment."

Never mentioned what it was I am selling, 1st email simply asked: "Do I still had this for sale" with a link to it.
Be warned.

I got exact same messages today from Mark Lee Hunter. Beware!
