Recieved a message from a Joseph William about a GMC Safari I had on Craigs List for sale. He offered to buy it from me for $2000.00, didn't ask about the vehicle nor try to knock the price a little. Here is what he sent me... Subject: Re: GMC Safari 1997 as-is $2000/obo - $2000 (Wilson)
I understand the present condition as started in the advert, i'm okay
with the asking price, i will not be able to come to look at it due to
the long distant, the easiest way for me to make the payment is
through a bank check, i'll wait until your bank clears the check
before we proceed with the pickup. I'll also take care of the pickup
and delivery when the check cleared, so if you are willing to sell it
to me, get back to me with your name, address, city, state, zip code
and phone number for me to issue the check to you.
Regard's,

This was the last message I recieved from him before figuring out he was a scammer! :
sorry i got your miss call, thanks for the information, the check of a sum of $4861.48 will be issued out to you, you have to deduct your $2000 and send the excess funds to the mover who will come for the pickup, it’s because i still have four goods that will be picked up in instates with yours, that why the shipment fee was $2861.48. I know this is none of your business, but due to the mover's policy that the shipment fee has to be sent by you, to show that you have permitted them to come for the pickup at your side. Please withdraw the advert from Craigs to avoid interruption. you can call me at (801) 738-6398.
P.S- His number was a magicjack number
