Nobody is on the other line and the number won't stop calling.  I'm getting very angry.

The number is an active number, it just has an answering machine with a recording of an operator saying it isn't.

obviously it is working now i keep getting harrasing phone call from some indian person. when i said i wasn't no longer interested he kept trying to get my credit card number of coarse i didn't give it to him but i slipped and gave him my address before i realized it wasn't legit what tipped me of is the fact that he kept asking if i had anykind of credit card then he slipped up and asked if i had a walmart card and that let me believe that the same person might be running some kind of walmart scam. its probably got somekind of router on the phone line that transfers all the calls overseas and blocks anykind of incoming calls so they can see who calls but doesn't allow it to go through. heck that line could be connected to some kind of computer and they are making calls through the internet.

just call the cops and file harassment charges on this person because that is the only way the phone company will block that number

Ok this same guy keeps calling me saying that I'm Linda and I told him that I'm not Linda and stop calling me well then he says I'm gonna keep calling then he keeps telling me he loves me!! Wtf that is creepy I told him to f&$@ off and to stop calling me and he kept saying i love u I love u soooooo creepy!!!
