I have a $20 charge on a credit card that lists this number.   Says "EB is California's HIG".   No idea....

I recommend filing a fraud dispute with your bank or CC holder and also filing reports with the FTC & CFPB..

On your credit card?  It's actually from Evenbright.  Bought tickets to an event or conference?  That's what it's for, not very descriptive but should be legit.

I had totally forgotten about tickets bought on Eventbright. Thank you for taking the time to write your comment. How stupid that the charge on your statement comes through as:  801-413-7200/Vancouver Toronto.   801 is the area code for Salt Lake City, Utah !
