They also employ a technique known as "skip tracing". Among other methods, they will run a debtor's address and home telephone number through a reverse directory search, and contact anyone they find who may live near the debtor, as well as use other databases to locate a debtor's relatives and contact them as well. Some of their techniques are legally questionable, but they manage to get away with it.

Same thing happened to me, they called me looking for a neighbor.

Thanks for the call...maybe if you had of let me pay the fine in Utah I would have this taken care of. But since you want to make a person who lives out of state come to court for a traffic ticket you will probably never recieve a payment from me. I think Utah is one of the stupidest states and i will never pass through there on my way to Texas ever again...not to mention yall sell beer at very few stores!
