this is DIRECT ENERGY, they keep calling I answer there is no one there, I call back it's direct energy office is always closed.  called
today 1/22/16 so I called back waited for 10 min to talk to rep, complained about constant calls, I don't pay utilities, told them in
certain terms not to call here again, it will take 72 hrs to remove my #.  I told them if I receive any more calls even within the next
72 hrs I will report them to BBB thru my MP.  We'll see if this gets them to stop, I'm a senior with not a lot to do so if they want to
play games they just may have picked the wrong person to screw with. I'M TRIED OF ALL THE CRAP THESE COMPANIES ARE
GETTING AWAY WITH, TIME TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST AGGREVATION FROM CORPORATIONS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of calls from this number with no one on the other end.  Finally got fed up and called them.  The woman who answered identified the company as Direct Energy.  She was not particularly pleasant to talk to.  I then filed a strongly-worded written complaint through contact information from the Direct Energy website.  Received a call today from Direct Energy.  They indicated that they had investigated and it is not their number.  They say it's a scam and is not Direct Energy calling.  Claiming to be Direct Energy is simply a misdirection technique, and, a way to gain trust and confidence in order to get information which will allow them to steal electronically.  I kind of believe that.  It's the worst imaginable marketing for a legitimate energy company.  The silence-on-the-line is due to poorly implemented robo-calling technology.  I would expect the real Direct Energy to run a tighter marketing campaign, have decent technology, and, have polite people manning the phones.  Scam artists don't care about any of that.  To me it reads like a scam in which Direct Energy is as much a victim as anyone.
