The caller said I could get a credit card with an interest rate as low as 4%.  It was a recorded call and I didn't press the button to talk to an agent.  I had no interest in talking to them so I programmed my phone to block anymore calls from them.  I assume it's some kind of scam.

The latest " Card member services" scammers.  They sure get pissed off when you tell them you have to get your card from the car and put them on hold for 10 minutes.  Then call them out for being scammers.

Same card services scam that has been going on for years. Had some free time so played with them. Made them wait while I got card. Gave bad card number which they caught on to quickly.  Gave them two other fake similar numbers. Wasted about 15 minutes and then told the guy he had been scammed. asked the him 'how much time did he waste with me?' and hit the button on my emergency distress air horn as I was hanging up the phone.  Just reporting the call here just alerts others that you also got the call, but does nothing to stop them.
