says i am going to get arrested   do not wanting him calling me   i call back he keeps asking me my name

my friend just got a call telling her the police was coming to arrest her because she owed taxes for 2009-2010.

Ive been getting these very unpleasant phone calls. I know that I dot owe the IRS anything .I haven't even worked since 2000 a.I'm withgoing chemotherapy  I don't need more on my plate then what I have.Can anyone help

They left a message threating me with court action for an IRS issue of which there is none.

Prior E-mails I have gotten indicate this is a scam.

Tried to call the IRS Fraud section.  No Human answered and no way to contact a live person for this to get to.  Phoned the local news paper and let them listen to the recorded message left on my answering machine.  Got transferred to an editor who was away from his desk.  So I left a copy of what was left on my answering machine on his answering machine.

I hope the word gets out to everyone.  This is a scam.

With the budget cuts and this being the height of tax season, the IRS phones are woefully understaffed.
