Caller claimed he works for the Crime Investigation Unit at the IRS headquarters in Florida, said that an IRS audit revealed serious problems with my tax returns and I need to pay $1900 or face 5 years in jail.

The caller was NOT the IRS - just a scammer trying to steal your money,.  .  The real IRS mails several letters if there is a problem.  IGNORE the call!
