called again, always rings 5 times and hangs up. Has called 7/9, 7/20, 7/25, 8/13, and 8/17. Caller id "M. LIEbrandt".

Thanks for reporting the below because I was trying to figure out who is M Liebrandt. They keep calling my house as well. I keep ignoring the calls. They don't leave a voicemail, but it is aggravating to keep getting calls from them. Now I know so I will block it, Thanks for the info.

They called after 6:30pm and told me they are with FOP and need money to fight drugs etc in Florida, and they call all the time and never leave a message, and they asked for me when my wife answered. I agreed to send $15 but am really mad when these calls are made...The caller was near Miami and it is probably a scam...

I get these calls, too. When I get too many I pick up the phone and don't say anything until a human speaks. Then I blow a referee whistle - I figure if they can call me I can do what I want. If I get a human. they never call back. After all I am paying for my phone services, they aren't so why should I have my peace destroyed with their nonsense.

I have had numerous calls from this number and I never answer, but today
is Sunday at 11:45am and this really makes me mad. From now on when
I get the calls I will pick it up and then hang up right away, maybe they will
get the hint.

This number which often comes up as M. Liebrandt is fast becoming one of the most annoying telemarketing calls. They often call daily and often more than once a day. As many of you know having your name on the "Do Not Call" list is an exercise in futility. Telemarketers find ways around blocking the call by simply switching to different numbers. Being rude does not help nor does politely asking them to put you on their "do not call" list. Ignoring the call(which I do) does not really help either as often you are on an automatic loop call.
