Unknown texting

Just received a text for a drawing that I have never entered. The text said to call 785-358-0074. Obviously a scam.

Just got a text on my backup cell phone that I have won a prize and to call 786-358-0074 to claim it. Since nobody has the number to this cell phone, it must have been sending texts to random numbers. I can't file a complaint with the FTC because it's not illegal to send spam texts.

I'm assuming you work for the company or is behind this ILLEGAL activity as you just completely lied.  Its completely illegal to send solicited text messages to unknown parties.  And you saying you "called" the FTC is total BS.

A some google will in fact tell you the facts and what to do.

I would recommend everyone follow through with an online complaint as this is the 2nd one I've gotten k  the last 2 weeks and have NEVER gotten one in my life.

There is a way to file an inline complaint.  Please do it to shot these Dbags down!

Take a moment and google "FTC texting spam on personal phone" and go to the online complaint and file the compliant.  Take a screen shot of the message and attach if possible.  These are starting to be note common.  Never had any EVER, til the last few weeks.

Only takes a few minutes so do it for all.of us.
