This is a fraud to scare people. This number has been reported everywhere about the tactics used to get people to send money, but it is nothing more than crooks trying to steal your money. Called number back for my husband stated it was a law enforcement issue but then identified as United States treasury. Number comes back as a Sprint mobile number

These idiots called my elderly parents to say that they had to take care of a legal issue with the IRS or a warrant would be issued for their arrest.  Earlier they had left a message with a case number.  I called the number and gave them the case number and they said that I would have a warrant issued on me.  I told them to send it to our local sheriff's office or USMS office because I work at the sheriff's office.  They hung up.
