Some jerks change their phone numbers with the company online to someone else's instead of just putting the number in their phone and setting the ringtone for that number to silent. I recommend you do that as well, as a lot of the people on here are just getting harassed for no reason.

Got an account with them in college (sound familiar). Never made a late payment and 8 years later the limit was over 8000!

Came into many unexpected medical bills and had to pay those one month.  They called a few times and We set a payment for the 1st of the month and they stopped calling.

Came into more medical bills and now my credit cards are all on hold till I figure out if I am filing for bankruptcy or not.  

Do not try to reason with these people anymore.  They will call you non-stop.  Consider Chapter 13 (which is cheap and easy).  The calls will stop and you will be put on a payment plan by the people in your court district, the credit card company will not be able to charge you interest either.

I dealt with First Financial...they won't take you to court...your best bet is to send a Cease and Desist letter to the address..make sure you send it so they have to sign for it. They have to stop all contact with you when they get that letter..they only option they have after that is taking you to court...they usually don't
