Some of these calls are fishing for real phone numbers. If you pick up, they sell your number to the other spammers. Best not to answer. Jerks just callled my house. Did not answer. Left no message.

"Lower your credit card rate" or solar panel scam, most likely. We get an awful lot of those calls.
