I answered and a male voice asked for my husband. I said he was not at home and asked if I could take a message. He asked if I was Mrs. P and when I replied "yes", he disconnected the call.

The caller id read Cognos Corp. Damn autocorrect.

Caller id shows cognos corp.  781-313-2868....Calls all day long....Rings three times then hangs up...Leaves no message....Cognos corp. Is an original business but i don't think this number pertains to them....Not sure why a software company would be calling me.  Sounds like a scam!  Can't somebody stop them?

They are telemarketers selling "home improvements in our area".  I asked the guy to take us off of the call list and he hung up on me.  Called the number back and left a voice mail.  They have been reported to the Do Not Call.gov.  Losers.

Cognos was acquired by IBM so if they call it will be as IBM. This is a scam call.
