I got a call today.  A live woman said "This is Chimney Service" and waited for my response.  I thought it was real solicitation for service business.  But whether it is real or not, I am totally against the practice of using telephone or email to ask for business.  In fact they are almost 100 percent criminal.  Since this is a live conversation, I just said "This is very annoy.  Do call again" and hang up.

They call and leave no message.  I dial *67 to block my number and call them back.  I get a phone company message saying the line is disconnected/no longer in service.  Clearly, this # is spoofed.  Even the telemarketers who harass me for money have a way to call them back.  So this # represents someone who is a step below that (sub-pond scum).  Almost certainly a scam.  I strongly recommend that you block this number.
