HAVE TO cancell your voicemail and shut of your answering machine if you use one...
you have to just let your phone ring and ring and ring...endlessly...they will eventually
stop calling you. this is the only way and it works.

Or a simpler solution would be to simply get a call blocker or call blocking phone or app.  That way the unwanted calls would be blocked and the calls you want will get through and be able to leave a message.  Also if you do not recognize the caller ID, then do not pick up the phone.  So you see, you way is not the only way.

Kept getting calls yesterday from this #. They called at 1:02 AM and I ran to the phone but missed the call. Their message said that to opt out, you have to visit this website. Really?  How did I opt in??   http://informationcntr.com/

Caller ID says "Cambridge MA" but Cambridge isn't in the 781 area code. If they're lying about that (faking their Caller ID) it's a sure bet you can't trust them about anything else.
