Called me and left message that I'd won $10k in Publishers Clearinghouse. I never entered the contest.

Foreigner from Pakistan/India with dog barking in the background...........Called me today to tell me I'd won 2nd place in Publisher's Clearing House contest by entering at Walmart, Walgreens or some other random place. Told him I'd never enter something there and he responded that my winning ticket was automatically generated. Fed Ex was going to deliver check to my door and did I want cameras there or private? Then told me as a US citizen there are taxes assocated with winning such a large amount............hung up the phone!!!!!

I'm reporting this on behalf of my elderly Mother. I answered her telephone today, and the person on the other end did not identify themselves, and refused to do so. When told that she was not well---and resting, they began to ask what was wrong? I told them that I would be ending this call before hanging up---because they refused to say who they were, and what this was regarding. They then hung up on me. My Mother is supposed to be on a "do not call" list to ward off such calls, as she is not well. This, in my opinion, is harassment.

Received call, came in as "Private Caller" on ID.  He stated I won money, 30 seconds later stated that I had won 1 million $, different amount than the first statement.  Then wanted me to go to Walgreens and purchase a money pak refill card for $400.00, so that FedEx could deliver my package today.  I hung up, he called right back, did not answer the phone, he left a message.  The name he used was John Brady and 781-202-4962.  I am quite sure this is a hoax.

Got a call from this number and the message said his name was "James" and he was calling from "The department of Immigration" regarding some package or something.  Left the number and asked to be called back, just had a message saying it was the desk of someone, accent too thick to understand, and to leave a message. Obviously it's a scam of some kind.  I found it humorous that they said they were with "The department of Immigration."
