Called asking for monetary donations over the phone for the Canadian Police Force to allow them to go to schools to provide safety talk to students about drugs and social media. It's a scam.

[780-900-8450 UNKNOWN CALLER call from Leduc AB] on my mobile phone.  Not sure how he got a private mobile number!

Received a call from a male who started out by saying that he finally reached a person, as he has been getting answering machines all day (he called at 11am...). He then said he was from the CPA Canadian Police Association and looking for help from me to donate monies for a bullying program. He sounded like he had a hint of a Southern accent. You could tell he was reading his spiel from a card. I told him I would look into it and that I will donate on their website. He was persistent and went on about a15 year old girl that was bullied and later committed suicide. I said again that I would look into it and said that I was not working and had no money to give at this time. Persistent and pushy, ignoring what I said,  he then said that they have excellent financial options and that I could make donations like $100, $75, $50, $45 and even as low as $35 and this would help the program. I once again state that I was not working and I have no money as I have cancer and undergoing treatment (which is the truth) and finally he said okay an hung up. I feel it is a scam as he almost bullies you by being very pushy, especially coming from a supposed "Canadian Police Association"!!!

I received the same call noted below by Jane. It is a scam and he said the exact same thing to me. Watch out!!

I received the same call noted below by Megan and Jane. It is a scam and he said the exact same thing to me. He hung up after asking if her could hear me ok, to which I said yes and am now kicking myself.

I just had this call. It is not a real person, some people are dumb as [***].
