Message says:  Hello (my real name), This is John Harris from CassNet informing you that your loan application has been approved for $10,000. blah blah blah He gave this number and asked me to call back.

I have not ever filled out an loan app. My daughter's credit card was one of the ones stolen from Target. She's got the same first name as I do.  We've gotten several random calls since the Target data theft asking for that same first name.

I recieved a call from 779-456-7949 on my answering machiene today when I got home stating my application was approved for a 8000.00 loan. I called them and asked them where they got my phone# and information from since I never filled out an application for a loan. The response was then why are you worried? My response was I did not apply for a loan and I was going to report my idenity stolen, the response was then why are you worried about it. When I questioned him on how he secured my information he hung up on me.

I keep blocking different numbers from this company.  This last call I declined and he left a voice mail saying "my loan had been approved and please call to discuss.  English is not his first language, and the call is BS since I never applied for a loan, or have I applied in over 10 years or longer.

Can you tell me if they asked for any money upfront? Or what was the process like...
