Home from work today I received a call on a landline phone stating that they need an address to deliver my Life Alert system. Knowing that my mother, who is a senior citizen, did not order Life Alert and has been receiving these calls I immediately took to the internet to find a corporate number for Life Alert. I called the Life Alert Corporate office and they said that they have had to hire people to man the phones at the corporate office due to this international scam. They stated that they have people working on this problem but these calls are definately a scam. They told me to report this to the FTC. I am reporting to the FTC and I am also going to be filing a report with the local police department as well.

You might also wish to contact your local TV stations to alert the public, especially seniors of this scam.  The scammers tend to work whole areas at one time.

Someone needs to stop this John-boy call before i find him!

hey beware of this number 770 462 0459 i got got a call from a bill martinet with an ID# 3092 and said that i had ordered an alert system and it was free he needed my address to ship it to my home and wanted a credit card number THIS IS A SCAM PLEASE BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM do not give out your info to this man nor this company when you try to call them back the phone number is not a working number and they will also call you using a number like 000-000-000 this is not a working number and they from Villa Rica Ga using this number 706-462-0459 PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFO ITS A SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
