The danger may be somewhat over-stated, but why take chances? Who wants to talk to crooks in the first place? No good can come of that.

Is this one if those "yes" scheme??
They only ask "yes ". "No".
Beginning is "can you hear me?
That is a scheme to get you recorded to say "yes". And they can use that to scam you.
