I got a call for an employment verification.   They left a VM and wanted to know if this person is currently working for the company and they gave the last for digits of a SSN.  I called back and said information did not match and they said they needed no more information.

Got the same message as well...verifying employee who doesn't work for me.

I too got a call from this number today asking to verify employment on a recorded line.  I said sure.  She then asked me to verify employment of my husband who is not an employee.  When I told her that she then she said that is correct he is the owner. She then asked to verify my mailing address and wanted to know if we had a physical address.  I hung up.  I am not sure why she is calling but we are not applying for anything that would require employment verificaiton.

Got a call today from this number 770-375-4367 they left a VM saying they were trying to verify employment. I own my own business and have for 25 years. The tel # is a credit collection agency trying to scam people. I just reported them to the Georgia State Attorney General's office. I was told this is the 5th complaint in 30 days about this company and telephone number.

This place just called my office to verify my employment and they had my SS#.  Has anyone ever had anything happen after these calls?
