I keep getting phone calls from this number. I am so sick of this. They call about 40 times a day.

Its a scam!!!When you do finally talk to someone, they begin to tell you that you've been selected to receive a $1000 gift card for being a preferred customer by your credit card company.  Mind you, I don't even have a credit card, I have a Visa debit.  Then they say you've also been selected to receive some free magazines, but they need to verify some information.  They ask for the exact name as it appears on the card, the exp. date, and finally they ask for your CARD NUMBER!!!I played along with them for awhile, but as soon as I told them they weren't getting my card number, they immediately hung up on me.

Actually, they don't really just "ask" for your card number. They're a telemarketing company and like all telemarketing companies, they promote something--this one is for magazines. You wouldn't have been sent to their "supervisor" (aka processor) for the magazine order and have been asked for a card number if you didn't agree to the promotion initially with the sales rep you spoke with. I used to work for this company. The customers get the shopping spree as a special "thank you gift" for participating with the offer.

I am getting the same call, continuously. It just leaves a message with waiting room music playing, never says anything, then hangs up.
The only thing I remember signing up for is an employment agency. I don't know how they got my number. I do use my cellphone number when I order things online. Maybe my cell phone number has been sold to other companies. I signed up for the do not call list 1-888-382-1222. You have to wait 31 days to be on the list before you can file a complaint.
