Caller advises he is with the local Utilities and informs us that we owe a large amount of $ on a MagicJack bill. Threatens to sue and wants immediate payment. Wants personal info. Uses profanity and hangs up when confronted that this is scam and will be turned over to authorities.

Called my business and stated utilities would be cut off unless a cash payment was made

we received a call stating they were with georgia power and we owed two months payments in the amount of 440 and when we pulled up our bank account and said we paid it they hung up on us and they had asked to speak with the owner of the house..they didnt ask for me directly

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS!!! I got a call from someone calling from this number saying they were from Georgia Power. They asked to speak to the manager or owner of the property regarding shutting of my power in 45 minutes for unpaid bills. They knew my address. I told him I don't have Georgia Power and he transferred me to someone saying they were with Coweta Fayette EMC, which is who I do have. Meanwhile, I'd pulled up my account online to make sure I was at zero balance. I told him that it shows I have no unpaid bills online and he hung up on me. Reported them to Coweta Fayette EMC and to the police.

They keep calling our business saying they are from the GA Power billing and disconnection dept.  We just received our bill in the mail today and it says nothing about being behind which we said to them.  Then he wanted to say we had a couple payments that hasn't posted.  SPAMMERS!!!!
