Received two calls within five minutes from this number demanding info and payment on a loan I'm not even responsible for paying.  These people Carolyn (probably not the real name) and then a customer service lol  rep Karen William (also a fake name I would assume) were both totally rude.  When I tried to explain I wasn't even responsible for the loan they refused to let me finish my explanation and preceded to shout at me on the phone.  When I raised my voice to be heard over them they shouted louder and never shut up.  These people are claiming to be associated with the Sallie Mae government loan group.  Do not answer calls from this number as you will be harassed for something you are not responsible for.  I would advise anyone looking for financial aid for schooling to go to your local bank or credit union.  DO NOT under any circumstances go to Sallie Mae.  They are legalized loan sharking by the government.

I get calls from this number all the time but as a general rule I don't answer numbers I don't know.  These are coming on my cell phone and I've had this number 8 years...I also don't have any students loans nor any Sallie Mae loans and am NOT deliquent on my house loan or car loan which are the ONLY loans I have so I like that I can google the number and find out who this is and guess what I'M STILL NOT going to answer their unwanted solicitations...yea me!!!!

i have sallie mae loans and i was behind on them but i just paid them to catch this up and they are still calling me constantly. i made a payment plan and stuck to it and they still are calling wanting more. i even told the guy that he plan was in place and he saw that and said that i owe the company x amount of dollars of course theyre gonna call. i cant believe it. its not fair and its not right and theres nothing you can do about it

Sallie Mae. The worse mistake to ever make.
