A lady called and asked for me. She sounded like she knew me personally which was strange since I didn't recognize the number. Then she proceeded to say that she wanted to make sure she had the right "me". She tells me my date of birth and asks me if it is correct. I told her that I'm not telling someone I don't know what my date of birth is. She then states that I'm not actually telling it to her because she already has it; I'm just confirming it for her. She then proceeds to tell me my social security number and asks if that is correct. Once again, I tell her that I am not giving out my personal information to someone that I do not know over the telephone. She then states that it's "for some application" and wishes "me good luck." She then hangs up on me. She was not foreign and she never identified herself or the company she represented, but she definitely scared me with the information she had about me. That was a very creepy call. I'll block the number but I'm sure they'll just find a way around it.
