A pre-recorded message said they were the "Investigation Unit of IRS", that I was under investigation and that my property was being "monitored". They gave this callback number and said it was important I call them back. They called with same message three hours again.

This is a scam. They asked me for my name but when I asked them to verify just the last 4 digits of my SS Number, they said they couldn't give out personal information. I said I didn't want personal information, just for them to verify my SS Number.
