Just received a cheque and assignment from Bauer Performance Sports Uniforms Inc. Thought I would do some online homework. Couldn't find anything about this company being in the business of hiring mystery shoppers. Found this page, and I'm realizing that it is quite an elaborate scam. This cheque has all the security features. Wow I'm amazed at the length people will go to, to scam people.

Phone Numbers listed on document:

Assignment Co-Ordinator # 1-514-690-6211

Me too my mom cashed it without knowing. She's bad at english. What would happen?

Don't let her spend any of it! That check is gonna bounce and when it does, she needs to replace all of that! Best go back to the bank and tell them its a scam check so she can straighten it out!

Thats kinda stupid. Then why would they do that? What are they getting out of it?
