The call is from a fund raising organization that is soliciting donations for the Michigan Democratic Party.  They are located in Minnesota but work thru area codes that are local.

They say to be removed from their call list, press 1.. I don't think that's a good idea. :]

Calling my cell phone several times a week, minimum.  I don't answer.  They do not leave a message.

Thanks to those above who identified the caller. Multiple calls each week at dinner time from an unidentified number? Terrible. And today I was finally annoyed enough to answer: instead of identifying himself and then asking for me (rudimentary telephone manners) a voice just asked for Christine. I said "May I ask who is calling?" and he said hurriedly "I'll call back when it's more convenient" (!). Yow. Bad, bad fundraising manners. I am a Democrat, so I'm considering answering next time now that I know who they are and critiquing their horrible technique.

Just received call from these clowns. Did not answer. Will block if they call twice. The way it is going I am going to need more space for blocked numbers shortly. Thank you folks at the DNC government offices for doing little to nothing to solve the constant problem!
