I don't know how they are hijacking phone numbers, but that seems to be the current practice.  Caller ID tells me calls are coming from insurance companies, etc. but the person on the line is selling home security systems.

Had the same experience.  Truly a scam.  Please be careful what you tell this woman or just hang up.

I feel sorry for the woman who had her phone number stolen by this foreign woman! Although I'm not the owner of the house, she asked for me. I must be on some marketing list. The only list that would have this phone number for me under this address is voting records. So, maybe this person is accessing our phone numbers from voting records? She kept telling me that I had an alarm system. When I said I didn',t she said I did and wanted to offer me a promotion special. I told her I was on the Do Not Call List, but she didn't seem to know or care what that was.

This hijacked number has called two days in a row.  I marked this number as spam yesterday but it reappears today without the spam signature.  WTF are they doing?  Are they hijacking the same number every day?  You would think that they would quit calling the numbers that do not respond but they don't.  They just keep calling the same dead phone numbers.  I imagine that they just hand their phone list to the telemarketer sitting next to them and the daily calling begins all over again.

Someone in our government needs to put a stop to this crap!  Who is failing to control this country's phone numbers?  It is far too easy for a$$ wipes in other countries to hack into our system with the intent of stealing money from unsuspecting Americans.

Had a call from this number 7345528643  This is not the first call , One time she called and said she was with ADT.  Knew my name  etc.  I have had numerous calls from this woman. I have told her to stop calling my phone number......
