rings 2x, hangs up....happens about every hour during the day...

This is one of those scams where they claim that your car warranty is about to run out and supposedly they are calling you to offer you the opportunity to renew this coverage. They hang up when asked to place your number on their Do Not Call list...in other words, they are NOT going to place your number on their Do Not Call list.
