This person called claiming to be an employee of acro services. He had a thick Indian accent extremely hard to understand. He asked for my birthdate and for me to send an updated copy of my resume. Beware

I had the same situation just now.  He also had a thick, Indian accent.  I have had legitimate Indians call me before, so this is unfortunate.
He said he was a recruiter with Microsoft services and he switched to Acro Services by the end of our conversation.
He said was calling about a position with General Electric.  He talked about a position I had actually seen open online. I initially agreed until he said my birthdate and the last 4 numbers of my social security and my birthdate were required.

 No recruiter has ever asked for that information before.  He was tenacious and wouldn't let up, but I politely rejected.
He said he would send me an email.  He didn't do that.  I just called the number back, and there was just an automated phone woman's voice with no regards to a company.  

 Be careful!  They should always send you a copy of the job posting first!

I just received a call from this number.  Yes, a very thick Indian accented man who called at 7 am in the morning.  I let the call go into voicemail.  I guess there is change in strategy for this man because there is actually an email sent into my email address.  Amazingly enough, there is also another email from a different company from a different state that has similar wordings that I received just 15 hours before the email from this man showed up.  According to the email his name is Nitish.  I didn't call back although the job opportunity he was talking about sounded really promising.

I also got a call from this number. He has a thick Indian accent and said he was from Ingersoll Rand.  I live in MN and he is calling from Michigan.
