Got a call from same number this morning. There are two people involved - First caller said his name is John Cruz and told me I have police complaint and legal affidavit against me. Asked me to call back once his supervisor is there. Later his "so-called" supervisor called by name David Marshall and said the same thing. Asked me to settle the matter quick. Was talking about the state tax evasion. The moment I said my CPA will contact you, he said we cannot help you and hung up. I called my local police department and let the officer know about this. He said these guys must be pranksters - ignore them or tell them that you have asked the state/local police to get involved - and they should back out.

A person claiming to be a police officer left message asking to be called back because he wants to start a criminal investigation against me. He did not name the 'police station' he was calling from. I called local police station and also a few in New Jersey. They all said to ignore it. The person called a few more times within hours ( seems to be in a hurry) but did not leave any message any more. The person is committing a crime by impersonating a police officer. I am sure he wants some personal information.

I had a call from this number claimimg he is a police officer who wants to start a criminal investigation aganst me. First time he said he is state police officer and I asked which state and he did not know so I hung up. He called again and said he was from my city state so I said get lost. This is fraud and needs to be cracked down on.

I also got same call from a person saying he is from criminal investigation department and is Officer James Jordan. I refused and he threaten to revoke my citizenship and passport. At that time I got satisfied that its fake.

I got a call from this number, the person transferred to a 'Senior Investigator'.  The so called investigator asked me if i had been contacted by my local police, as there are warrants of arrest issued against me by the IRS. Since, I do not have any problems with the IRS, I told him that it was all BS, and hung up.  I am sure they are a fraud fishing for somebody who they can scare into fleecing him and there should be a way to track and punish them.

We got a Call from this Phone Number with person claiming to be a Police Officer and claliming to be from State Department. Sounds like a complete FRAUD. Wish they would report and cancel this number.
