I rec'd a call from "Phil Grant". He was calling about a rental property I own, and described a student renting the house. He said he thought the student was the owner of the house, but when he called the tax office to find out, he got directed to me, and wanted me to call him back. The caller ID number just rings and rings, and the 1-800 number gets you to a message with a woman's voice and no business name. I did not leave a message, I'm concerned this is a scam.

It's not a scam they are who they say. they are a collection agency for the utility companies like new jersey natural gas

received a call for my ex who i havent dealt with in years. i told her he's not at this number and she started asking me if i know him etc. told her she called my cel phone and i'm in a different county and to take MY number off their list. then she got annoyed and i just hung up on her.

THEY ARE A COLLECTION COMPANY.  THEY HAVE BEEN HOUNDING ME FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS.  THEY ARE GOING AFTER THE WRONG PERSON.  I NEVER HAD THE NJ NATURAL GAS ACCOUNT THEY CLAIM  I OWE THEM AND I NEVER HAD ANY ASSOCIATION WITH THE PROPERTY WHERE THEY SAY I HAD THE CONNECTION.  I AM ABOUT READY TO GO TO THE POLICE WITH THIS BECAUSE THIS IS BLACKMAIL AND EXTORTION.

Yeah!!! This guy is a slug and refuses to speak with anyone after he calls your number.
