Annoying caller with accent wanting to first invite employees to a webinar and then wanting to verify employee addresses to they can send them a package. Seriously? Who knows what's in package and who knows if the employee wants it and who know if the employee even want to go to the IT webinar, and no way I'm giving out confidential employee information to a complete stranger on the phone. Male caller expected me just to give him confidential employee just like that. Eat it.

First man with accent called to invite an employee to a webinar.  I explained that invitations must be sent via standard mail.  He was more than happy to take the address, say Thank You, and hang up.  The second was a different story.  He requested a former manager, claiming that person was in IT when they'd been with Customer Service.  I advised that the individual had left the company some time ago, then he wanted to verify the street address ("You're located at X, right?").  I asked why he needed the information, when I'd already provided what he needed to know, and he suddenly became angry ("Now see here, you don't understand --").  I hung up, but he returned two minutes later.  I slammed down the receiver and will warn my back-ups.

Man with a heavy accent called asking to speak with someone who does not work for our firm. After I told him this he asked who was in charge of IT, and I stated I was not able to give out that information. He then said he had another name and proceeded to rummage through papers so I hung up. He called right back and asked why I hung up on him, that he had a package for someone and he was getting the name. I told him I hung up because he was a scammer and that if he had a package he would have a name instead of fidgeting around trying to come up with something and to not call the firm again and I proceeded to hang up. He called back a 3rd time and asked if I was the decision maker and I told him I was the Receptionist. He proceeded to say something I couldn't understand because of the heavy accent and all I was able to catch was him calling me a [***] before he hung up. Oh well. I hope "Marvin" doesn't call back. lol

Many with a heavy accent called wanting to confirm address of CEO for a package.  Refused to tell him what it was.  I told him this sounded like a scam and then he told me to shut the F- up.
