It's bright house/spectrum trying to sell you some more services from their [***] cable company, despite the fact it drops bandwidth and freezes my cable TV on a daily basis  -  oh and it won't stream any of the channels I subscribe to.  So if you want to mess with them, drag them along with their whole sales pitch and say yes to sign up for 55,000 things at additional cost with them and then at the end, when they give you your new total monthly bill cost, say "oh no never mind!  that's way too much!"   Be sure to stay on and listen to them respond and/or hang up on you. Keep in mind, the calls are recorded, so they can't slam you with it.

I am already a customer of this company (which I just know as Spectrum, they called themselves Charter Spectrum). When called I was told I would be asked 5 things about my service as a courtesy call, but then in the 2nd question they tried to sell me something; I do no find it appropriate to mislead when making a phone call, plus something like this should be done by mail or email, not by phone. I do not give out any information over the phone. I do not trust that they were really with this company as there was much laughter going on in the background.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFO. This is a fake number / scam. Called the real spectrum and they said they are not affiliated with this number, the real spectrum is always a 1800 #. Plus called this fake # back and the guy straight answered and pretending to be a recorded message saying "this call my be recorded for quality and training purposes" not a machine like a real professional company. I confronted him and said do not call us again I spoke with the real spectrum etc, he got so upset and started yelling. I hung up. Please don't give them your info. People suck!! Get a real job
